This heartfelt family drama stars Academy Award nominee Haley Joel Osment as 14 year old ‘Walter’ whose mom, played by Kyra Sedgwick, has decided to dump him off for the summer at his great uncle’s farm in the middle of Texas. Academy Award winners Michael Caine and Robert Duvall star as Walter's eccentric uncles ‘Garth’ and ‘Hub McCaan.’ At first appalled by their gruff manners, Walter soon becomes enthralled with their exotic tales and remembrances of their own youthful exploits which introduce the boy to a world of imagination and wonder, which ignites the old men's spirits.
