From Henry Selick, the director of "The Nightmare Before Christmas", comes this outrageous dark comedy starring Brendan Fraser as 'Stu Miley' - creator of a hit comic strip, and Bridget Fonda as his girlfriend 'Julie'. Life is looking good for these two until Stu is hit on the head and winds up in a coma. Stu's conscious spirit awakens in a purgatory-like carnival where MONKEYBONE, a petulant little monkey, inhabits his body. In order to return to the world of the living, Stu must first outwit death, played by Whoopi Goldberg, but MONKEYBONE has other plans that could thwart Stu's plan.
