This romantic/comedy from Academy Award-winning director Barry Levinson stars Bruce Willis and Billy Bob Thorton as fugitive bank robbers hoping a string of scores will finance their South-of the-Boarder retirement. But these guys are not ordinary bank robbers -- they're "The Sleepover Bandits." Their gimmick was to take the bank manager hostage at his home and have a little dinner with the family before robbing the bank in the morning. Things get even wilder when 'Kate' -- played by Cate Blanchett, joins the bandits on a cross-country spree and ends up stealing their hearts.
