This fantasy/adventure stars Kevin Spacey as 'Prot', a man who claims to be from another planet. Jeff Bridges stars as 'Dr. Powell', a psychiatrist at an understaffed public hospital who has treated plenty of delusionals in his career and figures it's just a matter of time before he cracks Prot's veneer. But as the psychiatrist tries to help him, he realizes that the so-called alien is having a positive effect not only on the patients - but on the good doctor himself who starts to see life through a different perspective.
