The year is 2084 - a new breed of dragon has evolved - extremely intelligent, fearsome and they don't like sharing the planet. As 'Quinn', Christian Bale leads a small community in survival using their meager resources just to alive until Van Zan, a hotshot American, played by Matthew McConaughey flies in with his own ideas about saving humanity. With Van Zan are the "Arc Angels", whose daredevil tactics in dragon slaying make the odds of survival incredibly slim.
